🌲CTA: PROTECT APPALACHIAN PUBLIC LANDS! 🌲
National and state parks are a driving force to why so many visitors flock to Tennessee From the Cherokee National Forest (Tennessee's largest tract of public land) and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to our rivers, lakes, and night sky viewing, folks flock to Appalachia as a place, a destination to unplug and unwind.
But without our federal land management staff who act as protectors and stewards of these lands, National and state parks and forest service recreation areas are under threat of opening to provide a safe and accommodating experience to the many visitors across Appalachia and nationwide~ right as they approach peak visitation season.
